The Park Received Ft. Lauderdale's
Community Appearance
Award for 2001

In 1996
the City of Ft. Lauderdale commissioned Flynn Engineering for a "State
of the Art" $8 million dollar, three phase, revitalization of Holiday
Park, a 100 acre park in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
Major items in the plan included: 5 Football/Soccer Fields, 5 Baseball
Fields, Roller Hockey - 2 Rinks, Reconfigure Vehicle Circulation,
Reconfigure Parking, Roller Blade, Jogging and Bike Trails, Press
Box & Concession/Restroom Buildings. EDSA provided master planning
and landscape architectural services. The multi-phased project will
be completed in 2002.
