Target - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

The Coral Ridge Mall is a landmark to the residents of Ft. Lauderdale. It has a diverse collection of retail and commercial units, however business for the mall had deteriorated over time.

The re-development of the Coral Ridge Mall included the demolition of an existing Restaurant/Night Club establishment and incorporated the development of Target, a 123,000 SF Department Store.

Flynn Engineering was responsible for all of the site work including grading, paving, and drainage as well signage and pavement marking and the installation of the potable water service and sanitary sewer connections.  Flynn Engineering coordinated the site work with Target's in-house architect in Minneapolis.

The October 1999 opening of this new store brought the Mall a resurgence of customers and the improvements to the site parking layout and landscape design dramatically increased the aesthetics of the center.

Flynn Engineering has also completed a 193,000sq.ft. Target SuperStore in Lauderhill that was  completed in November 2001.
